The designated hiking areas are administered by Ezemvelo KwaZulu Natal Wildlife (EKZN) offer maps to assist the hikers with the various routes in the specific areas. There are a number of community guides available to accompany groups for hikes and historical tours. These guides have a wealth of knowledge about their subject and are well versed in local lore, fauna and flora. Costs for the guides vary considerably so please contact us with an idea of what you would like to see and how many of you would like to see it.

In the Central Drakensberg you can enlist the services of King Steve - Humble African Man. He is an
excellent authority on the Central Drakensberg area and can take day and overnight hikes as well as visits to San Rock Art sites.
