King Steve
King Steve - Humble African Man - offers you tours to traditional
Zulu areas in the Drakensberg region. This includes visits to local community upliftment projects, churches and
villages. Here you will experience local cuisine, traditions and the spiritual powers of the sangoma (medicine
man or woman).

Tutukhani Zulu Dancers
They are available to perform at special occasions such as wedding
and conferences. You can also watch their weekly rehearsals.

Basotho Cultural Village
Situated 10km from Phuthaditjhaba on the R712 to Golden Gate. This
is a replication of a Basotho village and shows how the homes have changed over the past 2 centuries. You get
to speak to the chief, sample the local beer and consult with the witchdoctor. You will also be entertained
by traditional Basotho dancers and can shop at their curio shop. They have a selection of arts and crafts
for sale.
Open from 9am to 4pm daily.
Winterton Museum
An AmaZizi replica homestead, agricultural
implements, displays on local history and an excellent library on
the South African War are special features of this museum.
Open Monday to Friday - 9am to 3pm. Saturday - 9am
to 12pm.
