Central Drakensberg
Bell Park Dam - With a nominal entrance fee, this is a superb dam for a day of watersport, braais and fishing. Watch out for the crocodile.

Northern Drakensberg
Sterkfontein Dam - the feeder dam for the Tuva Hydroelectric scheme. It has good winds for sailors and an interesting shoreline to explore

Bush & Battlefields
Spionkop Dam - within the Spionkop Nature Reserve. A great location for watersports and spotting game along the shoreline.
